Family desperate to find woman missing since March 10th

Evelyn Gunter's car found abandoned, credit cards found scattered in parking lot

DETROIT – The search continues for the 47-year-old Detroit woman who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Evelyn Gunter hasn't shown up for work since March 10th.

The day after, her daughter received a text from Gunter's cellphone saying she was going out of town with a friend.

Two of her Gunter's credit cards were found Sunday in the parking lot of the Club Celebrity on Plymouth Road on Detroit's west side.

"It's real hard. It's real hard, we just miss her. Just can't believe that something like this would, you know, happen to her," said Gunther's niece."I don't know who would want to do this to her. It's not right at all."

The missing woman's car was also found in the parking lot of the bar. The family is now fearing the worst.

I just want my auntie to come home. You know, her kids need her. We need her," said Gunther's niece.
