DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – A family in Dearborn Heights is trying to cope after the loss of a 3-year-old girl who died after a piece of gym equipment fell on her head.
Dearborn Heights police said children were at recess at the Dearborn Heights Head Start school around 11 a.m. Friday when a table-type piece of equipment in the gymnasium collapsed and fell on 3-year-old Lilliana Kerr.
