DETROIT -

A family used to call a house in the 13000 block of Dwyer on Detroit's east side home.

However, after a devastating fire Thursday which seriously injured almost everyone in the house, only a shell remains, not a home.

One-year-old Kamora is released with family. Sincere, 2, is with his father. Marcus Hasty, 13, is stable and out of ICU with burns over 15 percent of his body.

Antonio Whitley, 7, is not doing well. He has burns over 50 percent of his body and is being kept in a medically induced coma.

Their mother, London, is emotionally exhausted and medical personnel are worried about her mental state. Grandmother Kim Edwards, the family's matriarch, is still trying to understand what happened.

Edwards spoke with Local 4 by phone from her hospital bed on Monday morning. She is recovering from surgery. She leapt from an upstairs window with flames licking up around her.

She said she will be released in the coming days but she doesn't want to be because, she says, she has nowhere to go.

The Detroit Fire Department says it is still trying to determine the cause of the fire.

The family is praying for a Christmas Miracle, that not only will all of the children survive and, at some point come home, but that they will eventually have a home to go to. They've lost absolutely everything.

They have set up a website for donations here.
