Father of missing Detroit child arrested in Atlanta

Sources: Detectives find traces of blood during search in house on Ardmore Street

DETROIT – The father of one of two missing Detroit children has been arrested in Atlanta, according to jail records.

Police found Erin Justice at a family member's house there. He is currently being held at Fulton County Jail in Georgia.

According to jail records, he has been charged with being a fugitive from justice by the FBI.

A medical examiner has determined Alicia Fox, the children's mother whose decomposed body was found in a vacant house this week in Detroit, died from multiple gunshots.

Authorities continue to search for Fox's children, 6-year-old Kaylah Hunter and 8-month-old Kristian Justice.

Fox's children have different fathers. Investigators said they had been in contact with both men.

Local 4 has learned that a search Wednesday night at a home on Ardmore Street in Detroit turned up traces of blood.

The children and their mother were last seen around May 24. Fliers about the missing children are posted throughout the neighborhood.
