Two people at the home were arrested in connection to marijuana plants which police removed from the home. However, police have not made any arrests in connection to the murder.
April Millsap's body was found July 24 in a drainage ditch in Armada. Two joggers noticed the girl's border collie by a trail and followed it to Millsap's body.
An autopsy confirmed that Millsap was killed, but Armada Police Chief Howard Smith declined comment on how she died, other than that she was neither shot nor stabbed.
Investigators say Millsap left her house to walk the dog on the trail about 5 p.m. The middle school student's family contacted police when she didn't return home.
She recently graduated from Armada Middle School and was to start high school in the fall.
