DETROIT - Federal prosecutors want former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick to pay $4.5 million dollars in forfeiture money after his corruption convictions.

The feds believe that's the amount of money Kilpatrick obtained in his dirty dealings. His co-defendant, Bobby Ferguson, is expected to help fork over the money.

Kilpatrick, his father Bernard Kilpatrick and Ferguson all got prison sentenced for their part in what federal prosecutors and a judge called a criminal enterprise. A jury found them guilty on a list of corruption charges.

The defendants must appear in court Dec. 10 for a restitution hearing.
