ROYAL OAK, Mich. - Royal Oak police are looking for a bank robber who struck a Fifth Third Bank branch on Woodward Avenue Saturday morning.
Police said the robber handed the teller a note demanding money and indicated he had a gun. No one was hurt, but the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police have released a picture of the robber taken from a bank security camera.
Royal Oak police and the FBI are investigating the robbery. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Royal Oak Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 248-246-3528 or FBI Detroit Field Office at 313-965-2323 and reference Royal Oak Police Department report #14-29314.
The bank is at 29710 Woodward Ave, which is between 12 Mile and 13 Mile roads.
