Fifth Third Bank in Royal Oak robbed

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Royal Oak police are looking for a bank robber who struck a Fifth Third Bank branch on Woodward Avenue Saturday morning.

Police said the robber handed the teller a note demanding money and indicated he had a gun. No one was hurt, but the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police have released a picture of the robber taken from a bank security camera.

Royal Oak police and the FBI are investigating the robbery. The bank is at 29710 Woodward Ave, which is between 12 Mile and 13 Mile roads.
