DETROIT – Four homes are destroyed after a fire broke out on Detroit's east side.
Firefighters responded to the homes near McDougall Street early Monday morning. They planned to stay on scene through the morning to put out any hot spots. At least one of the homes was occupied.
The cause of the fires is under investigation.
