Saturday the Waterford Fire Department responded to house fire on Airport Road, North of Williams Lake Road.
The 911 call came in at 7:30 p.m. Engine 4 arrived to find a 2-story home engulfed in flames. Firefighters say the steel building directly behind that house and a third building next door was also burning.
Crews doused the home with water while other fire crews entered the steel structure. Firefighters were able to cut holes into the building and the roll up doors to get water inside.
The home and steel structure are part of a tree service business; both took on fire severe damage. The home collapsed shortly after fire crews arrived on scene.
The third building, which housed Discount Marble & Granite, also experienced heavy damage. Firefighters were on scene for more than four hours.
No one was hurt during the fire.
