Chefs' Secret (that has nothing to do with food)

Hip hop journalist, professor and father Dan Charnas was looking for a way to improve his busy life, and found it in the unfamiliar culinary world.

For his book "Work Clean," Charnas interviewed chefs across the country about how they use the concept of "mis en place."  Mis en place translates to "put in place," and provides guidelines that keep a kitchen running -- but also apply to everyday life.

Kimberly Gill has the story of how what happens behind-the-scenes at restaurants can improve anyone’s life.
