DETROIT – A 13-year old Detroit girl will see her drawing come to life in this year's America's Thanksgiving Parade.
Robin Ryce, who is an eighth-grader at Warrendale Charter Academy, won this year's Skillman Foundation Float Design Contest.

Her drawing has been crafted into a float and will premiere in this year's parade on November 22nd through downtown Detroit.
The runner up was "Art Park" by Naomi Cook: 7th Grade, Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies.

America's Thanksgiving Parade starts at Woodward Avenue and Mack at about 9:20 a.m. Thanksgiving morning. It ends at Woodward Avenue and Congress.
