Local 4's viewers stepped up in a big way on Tuesday during the Force 4 Good phone bank.
All day long, donations poured into the phone bank for The Heat and Warmth Fund, or THAW, which provide assistance to thousands of families and individuals who cannot pay their heating bills.
It was part of the Week of Warmth put on by DTE Energy and THAW.
Thanks to viewer donations, $32,000 was raised. DTE Energy matched the amount, so the grand total was more than $60,000.
