Inside, the front console will be completely redesigned with touch screen navigation, a new steering wheel, and a slot specifically made for smartphones.

The 2017 Ford Escape will also feature two new four-cylinder Eco Boost engines; both will come with stop-and-start technology to help improve fuel efficiency.

Last year, the two-row cross over sold over 300,000 units, and outsold the Toyota RAV4 and the Nissan Rogue.

Ford also says new changes will debut on their Ford Edge and Explorer SUVs.

The new designs can be seen at the North American International Auto Show from January 11-24, 2016 at Cobo Center in Downtown Detroit.
