Mostly sunny on Monday -- a fantastic day with highs in the upper 60s. Mostly clear Monday night, with lows in the mid 40s.
Increasing clouds on Tuesday, with highs in the upper 60s. An approaching warm front could trigger an afternoon shower, but that looks like a small chance at this point...I'm holding off the rain until Tuesday night, when there is a much better chance for rain. Lows Tuesday night in the mid 50s.
We'll probably see some showers early Wednesday, but those should end with partly cloudy skies developing. Highs in the low 70s.
Partly cloudy on Thursday and Friday, with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Although it's way too early to try and get specific about the Memorial Day weekend forecast, very preliminary indications from my long range computer models suggest increasing sunshine and warmth through the weekend. Some models bring in some rain on Monday, but others keep it dry.
This is just a general outlook, so don't make specific plans based upon this yet. But I'll keep a close eye on the holiday weekend and update you when I get more confident in the models' handling of the developing weather pattern.
Let's hope that what I'm seeing today pans out (my colleague, Ben Bailey, says that I'm "wish-casting" whenever I say this!).
