Lingering overnight cloud cover should move out by mid-morning Thursday, with mostly sunny skies the remainder of the day. Highs in the mid 20s so, with the sunshine, it's going to be a spectacular late-winter day. Light east wind.
Mostly clear Thursday night, with lows in the mid teens.
TGIF! Mostly sunny skies to start your Friday, then increasing afternoon clouds. Warmer, with highs in the upper 30s...we'll see convertibles, shorts, and tank tops all over town. Okay, maybe not. But it'll sure feel nice.
Mostly cloudy Friday night with a flurry or insignificant light snow shower possible as a cold front swings through. Lows in the mid 20s.
Interesting forecast for Saturday: a batch of light snow may cross the area, and possibly even give us some minor accumulation. Highs near 30.
Partly cloudy on Sunday, with highs in the low 30s.
Mostly cloudy on Monday, with highs near 40.
My long range computer models are all over the place with a developing storm system that will cross the Midwest and Ohio Valley sometime in the Tuesday/Wednesday timeframe. One model (the GFS) actually brings the storm farther north and gives us a rain chance. But other models (the ECMWF and CMC) not only keep it farther south and keep us in the cooler air, but also develop a stronger storm capable of significant snow accumulation.
It's way, way too early to even speculate about what this storm may do - and you know me well by now...I won't hype or try to represent that I have a handle on this storm yet. I don't.
