Former Grosse Pointe Woods court administrator pleads guilty to embezzlement

GROSSE POINTE WOODS, Mich. – The former court administrator for Grosse Pointe Woods pleaded guilty Thursday to embezzlement and was sentenced to jail.

Julie Ann Moore pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement by an agent, trustee or employee over $20,000.

She will be sentenced to 30 days in jail, but she can be released if $22,566 is paid in restitution and court costs.

Charges of larceny by a public official and larceny in a building will be dismissed, officials said.
