WARREN, Mich. -

The former Novi elementary school principal who was arrested for being drunk on school property pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated during her pretrial on Monday.

Kim Warren, who worked at Deerfield Elementary School, was arrested April 8 after police say she returned to the school from lunch drunk.

The 44-year-old was charged with having open intoxicants in a vehicle and had a blood alcohol content of more than .17 percent. The legal limit is .08 percent.

The judge dismissed the super drunk charge against Warren and the open intoxicant charge.

Warren has since resigned from her role as principal. She is set to be sentenced on August 6th.
