LIVONIA, Mich. -

Veterans who might need help with their benefits can get one-on-one attention during an upcoming Veterans' Summit put on by the Canton Community Foundation.

The free event is September 10 from 8:45 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Laurel Manor in Livonia.

Experts from Veterans Affairs will educate veterans about the benefits they're entitled to in health care, pension, disabilities, VA eligibility and new resources at the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency.

Veterans can also meet with representatives one-on-one to help answer questions or solve problems.

Registration for the 5th Annual Veterans' Summit is at 8 a.m. September 10 and a free lunch will be provided.

There will also be a Veterans Expo with area sponsors, and programs for veterans.
