GROSSE POINTE, Mich. - A freighter has run aground in the Detroit River near Grosse Pointe.

The U.S. Coast Guard said the freighter lost power Tuesday evening and got stuck.

Power has been restored and crews were working Wednesday morning to shift weight on the freighter to free it. If that doesn't work, a tug boat will be called in.
