DETROIT – Super early-risers will be treated to the Geminid Meteor Shower in the wee hours of Friday morning. Lows will be in the middle and upper 20s. The afternoon will be spectacular. Sunshine will dominate with highs in the middle 40s and a southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. The last leaf pick-up day is just around the corner. Homeowners with leaves still on their lawns will have wonderful weather for 2012's last raking job.
