CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A two-inch gas line break has the intersection of 18 Mile and Hayes roads shut down in Clinton Township.
Consumers Energy spokeswoman Debra Dodd said a contractor doing work near the intersection struck the line, causing the leak. Dodd said Consumers Energy workers will have to break concrete to get to the line and make repairs.

No one has been evacuated and no injuries have been reported. Dodd said there is no timeframe for when the repair work will be completed.
