DETROIT - We're learning new details about why General Motors has ordered dealers to stop selling the popular 2013 and 2014 Chevy Cruze.

A GM spokesperson said the driver's side airbag may have been assembled with an incorrect part.

GM is working to identify the specific vehicles impacted, but in the meantime, as a precaution, all dealers have been ordered to stop sales.

GM is still finalizing the numbers, but believes 33,000 Cruzes are affected.

This is just the latest problem for GM and CEO Mary Barra will be interviewed live by the Today Show's Matt Lauer Thursday morning in Detroit.

Matt Lauer will first talk with Local 4 News Today at 6:30am Thursday.
