Goats cleaning up vacant lots in Oakland County, benefiting many

A tribe of goats are working hard in Oakland County, tidying up vacant lots and cleaning.

"Goatscaping" is an enviromentally friendly alternative to clearing grass.

In a vacant lot in Pontiac which once had a home on it, goats are keeping the lawn in check by munching on vegetation.

Not only is it a task goats enjoy more than humans, but it proves to be the most efficient option, seeing as how human landscapers run into the danger of finding hidden pipes or buried concrete when digging in the ground.

The idea of "goatscaping" originated in the west, but with popularity growing, now people in Michigan are taking note of its potential.
