'Gold digging' Nike shirt draws criticism for sexist tone

Company says claims are false, shirt is to celebrate Olympic women's success

A T-shirt design by Nike is drawing a lot of heat over complaints that it's sexiest.

The company has released an Olympic-inspired shirt for women with the phrase "Gold Digging" on the front.

The shirt is supposed to praise the success of the women's Olympic teams. Women won 58 medals compared to the men's 45.

But since the T-shirt is marketed toward women, fashion bloggers and other critics are calling it sexist.

Nike has released a statement saying that's not true. "Nike has consistently supported female athletes and the position they enjoy as positive role models. "

What do you think of the shirt? Would you wear it?
