Governor Snyder starts roads tour Monday

DETROIT – Gov. Rick Snyder is hitting the road this week to get a first-hand look at road conditions across metro Detroit.

On Monday, Gov. Snyder and Michigan Department of Transportation director Kirk Steudle will travel down the Lodge freeway to see for themselves what roads are like.

They will then head to Southfield for a roundtable discussion with local leaders on how to fix our crumbling infrastructure.

Discussions may include the proposed gas tax hike increase in the state.
