Tonight Gov. Rick Snyder will be live at WOOD TV8's studios to answer your questions about the big issues affecting tax payers: Health care, the economy and the state’s infrastructure.

The one-hour conversation with the governor will include questions from a live audience of pre-selected guests who come from a variety of backgrounds. 24 Hour News 8 will also be taking viewers’ questions from social media and woodtv.com.

Within days of the town hall discussion, lawmakers in Lansing will vote on Medicaid expansion, which is sure to be a big talking point on Thursday night.

In addition, as students are getting ready to head back to the classroom, questions regarding common core curriculum, which has Michigan school districts in limbo, are expected to be addressed.

Other big issues include Detroit’s bankruptcy, crumbling roads and overall budget concerns.
