New rule is part of 'No Tag, No Chasing' policy

The Grand Rapids based school sent a letter home to parents that announced the ban on tag and other chase-oriented games. The letter described children, "running in packs, pushing, knocking other children over, and making the game dangerous."

The consequences of playing these games would be immediate removal from play, a note home to parents, and missing the next two recess periods.
