GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. - According to the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office, 35-year-old Sabrina Gianino, who was found dead Thursday morning in her Grosse Pointe Park home, was strangled to death.

Police said a 911 call came in just after midnight and officers found Gianino in a home in the 1300 block of Wayburn Street. Police reportedly got the call from Gianino's boyfriend. He was questioned by police and released.

Police are calling the death suspicious but are not discussing any possibility of forced entry. Sources say markings were found around Gianino's neck.

An autopsy revealed Friday that it was death by strangulation.
