HARTLAND, Mich. - A local competitive Theatre on Ice team has been selected to represent TEAM USA by the U.S. Figure Skating Association at the 2013 Nations Cup in Spain. But before they compete, they need your help getting there.
Harmony Theatre Company is the only competitive Theatre on Ice figure skating team in Michigan, from the Ice House Skating Academy in Hartland, Michigan.
Harmony does not receive any stipend from the U.S. Figure Skating Association, so all money must come through sponsorship and fundraising. To send Harmony to Spain for the 2013 Nations Cup. it will cost approximately $2,500 per skater.
LaFontaine Cadillac Buick GMC in Highland, MI is hosting a Ride & Drive event on Saturday, Oct. 20, to help raise money for the skaters. LaFontaine is donating $20 for every driver who test drives a vehicle during the event in support of the Harmony Theater Company.
You can help send Harmony to Spain to compete in the 2013 Nations Cup as TEAM USA by going to their website, www.harmonytheatrecompany.com, or by going to their Facebook page, www.facebook.com/harmonytheatrecompany.
