Hollywood blockbuster films in downtown Detroit, closing Transit Center

Rosa Parks Transit Center closes for filming

DETROIT,Mich. – The Hollywood blockbuster series Transformers will be using the Rosa Parks Transit Center in downtown Detroit as a filming location starting August 4.

The Detroit Department of Transportation has granted Paramount Pictures permission to film segments of "Transformers 4" at the facility beginning at 5a.m. Sunday until 4a.m. Monday, August 5.

During this time the facility will be unavailable to bus-riding customers, bus operators, vehicles and staff.
