Homeowners sleep through home invasion, police investigate

Suspects used stolen credit cards in Auburn Hills

Waterford, MI. – The Waterford Township Police department is investigating a home invasion that took place in the early morning hours of Saturday while the homeowners were sleeping.

Police officers arrived to the 2000 block of Lake Angelus Lane Road on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. The homeowners told police that they were robbed between the hours of 11 p.m. and 4:30 a.m.

The unknown suspects broke into the home through the rear door. The homeowners told officers the suspects took credit cards, a dehumidifier and two TV's.

The Police recovered items not belonging to the victims located on the same area of the street.

While officers were investigating the incident, they were able to determine the suspects used the victim's credit card at a store in Auburn Hills. Police officers were able to obtain surveillance pictures of the possible suspects.

Waterford police also believe the suspects used a small size black vehicle in the home invasion.
