DETROIT -

The Michigan house could vote on Detroit's so-called 'Grand Bargain' as soon as Thursday.

A special committee unanimously approved the package of 11 bills on Wednesday.

The deals would give $195,000,000 to Detroit to help backfill pensions and protect the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Capitol sources tell Local 4 and ClickOnDetroit.com they expect the package of bills to clear the state house Thursday. The bills will then be on to the senate for approval.
