INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A woman is in critical condition after being pulled from a house fire in Independence Township early Tuesday morning.
A passerby noticed smoke coming from a home in the 6100 block of Clintonville Road at about 7 a.m. and called authorities.
The woman was rushed to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac.
An investigation is underway into what caused the fire.
