Intense video shows man shooting at DDOT driver after being kicked off bus

Police searching for DeWilliam Pugh in connection with shooting

DETROIT – Surveillance video from a Detroit Department of Transportation bus shows a man shooting at a driver after being kicked off a bus.

Police said DeWilliam Pugh, 26, is wanted for the shooting, which you can see in the surveillance video posted below.

In the video, the bus driver can be heard saying, "Go! Big fella, you'd better hear me. You've gotta go."

He then shoved Pugh through the door and off the bus, saying, "You've gotta go."

Once off the bus, Pugh can be seen firing at least once shot at the bus driver. It the video, it appears two shots can be heard.

The bus driver can been seen diving out of the way. Police said he was not struck during the shooting.

The incident happened at 8:45 p.m. April 23 at Harper and Whittier avenues in Detroit.

Pugh is described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds.

Police said they have an arrest warrant for Pugh. Police consider him armed and dangerous, so residents are advised not to approach him.
