Jurors will get critical instructions from a judge and then hear closing arguments in the corruption trial of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, his father and a longtime pal who got millions in city contracts.
Kilpatrick faces years in prison if convicted of the charges, which range from racketeering conspiracy to tax crimes.

The government says he shamelessly shook down contractors and his own political fundraiser and turned a nonprofit fund into a slush fund for travel and personal luxuries.
Jurors are returning for closing arguments Monday in Detroit federal court after hearing nearly 70 half-days of testimony.
There were 80 witnesses for the prosecution and 11 for the defense.

Some of the allegations go back to Kilpatrick's days in the state Legislature before he was elected mayor in 2001.
He denies any wrongdoing but declined to tell his version to jurors.
