Jenna Bush-Hager attends luncheon in Southfield

The National Council of Jewish Women of Greater Detroit in Southfield held it's annual "Women of Vision" luncheon on Thursday.

Visitors got a chance to meet and talk with the NBC "Today" show correspondent and best selling author, Jenna Bush-Hager.

Bush-Hager, the daughter of former President George W. Bush and former first lady, Laura Bush, expressed positivity toward the city.

“I love Detroit. I’ve come here for several today show stories and every time I come I leave with a sense of purpose,” She said “I leave with a sense that this place is really special and the people that are working here to make a difference are so inspirational.”

Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the organization's community services and programs.
