PONTIAC, Mich. - Jury selection continues Wednesday for Tucker Cipriano who along with Mitchell Young stands accused of beating Tucker's family with a baseball bat in 2012.
Prosecutors say Cipriano and Young beat Tucker's mother, Rose, and his brother, Sal, during an alleged robbery. The pair is accused of beating father Bob Cipriano to death and face first-degree murder charges.
The trial began Monday with a twist. The Prosecutor's Office filed an order to prevent any potential witnesses from talking to the media due to the ongoing battle between Tucker's uncle Greg Cipriano and the Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper.
Greg Cipriano has been very vocal about his frustration with the prosecutor for not offering the defendants a plea deal in hopes of sparing the family from reliving the horrific night they were attacked in court.
Cooper maintains she will not be accepting any type of deal in the case. Read: Prosecutor: Tucker Cipriano, Young will get no plea deal
