It's been more than a year since West Bloomfield Township Police Officer Patrick O'Rourke was killed in the line of duty.
O'Rourke was gunned down Sept. 9, 2012, by Rickey Coley. O'Rourke had been responding to a 911 call by Coley at his home on Forest Edge Lane.
Coley killed himself during the same incident. Police used heavy equipment to tear into the home to see if Coley was still a threat before that discovery was made.
The home, which is still riddled with bullet holes and has since been boarded up, has even more issues.
From the front, the home looks every bit of its $800,000 cost. But, around the back you see boarded up walls and hundreds of bullet holes.

Township officials say it has been gutted inside from broken pipes.
Neighbors have made numerous complaints, calling it an eyesore and a constant reminder of the tragedy that unfolded there.
Neighbors say Coley's wife Deniece owns the home outright and hasn't done a thing to repair what is now a sad reminder.
The Township does have a property maintenance ordinance and is going after Coley's widow. They've filed a lawsuit against her on claims they've made several requests for the home to be cleaned up.
The courts will decide how much time Deniece has to bring the house back up to code before it faces demolition.
According to court documents, Deniece moved out of the family's home on June 12, 2012. The couple got married in Pontiac in November 1998. Together, they have a 7-year-old son.
A criminal complaint by Deniece Coley claims her husband physically attacked her on June 12. She also accused him of infidelity and emotional abuse and that he had threatened to take their son.
