The Bavarian Inn Restaurant is opening a new dining space called “Michigan on Main Bar and Grill."
Bavarian Inn is a tourist destination in Frankenmuth, Mich., for families who want delicious chicken dinners. Now, they have opened a new venue at the restaurant that is a contemporary dining space focusing on Michigan foods and recipes, along with Michigan craft-brewed beers, Michigan wine, and Michigan cocktails.

Ponzu Fish Marinade
2 Cups water
5 Tbs. crystalized lemon (could replace this with 10 Tbs. lemon juice)
1 1/3 Cups soy sauce
½ Cup mirin, can be found at most Asian specialty stores
½ Cup brown sugar, packed
2 tsp. crushed red peppers
2 Tbs. toasted sesame seed oil
1 Tbs. garlic, chopped
1 Cup eel sauce, can be found at most Asian specialty stores or could substitute with oyster sauce
Combine ingredients together and mix well. Place the fish into the marinade and refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours. Remove the fish from the marinade and sear over medium heat in sesame seed oil or bake on a lightly oiled sheet tray in a 350 degree oven until fish is cooked through.
