Hometown actor and comedian, Dave Coulier, known as “Joey” from the hit television series, Full House, will entertain attendees at The Guild of St. John Hospital and Medical Center’s 54th Annual Guild Dinner on June 4th at Penna’s of Sterling, in Sterling Heights.
The funds raised will benefit St. John Hospital and Medical Center. The proceeds are designated towards the Mary Ann Van Elslander Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Nursery at St. John Hospital & Medical Center (SJH&MC).
St. John Hospital has been caring for critically ill and premature babies for over 40 years, with one of the first Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) in the state.
An expanded, modern facility with the latest technology will enhance privacy, patient safety and the overall patient/family-centered experience. Renovating and expanding the NICU will double the existing square footage and create 32 private rooms. The new accommodations will include private nurseries for each baby, with reduced light and sound disturbances, and overnight accommodations for family members.
This enhanced environment will be conducive to healing and growing, which can reduce the infant’s length of time in the hospital. Additionally, it will allow SJH&MC to uphold its position as an international leader in caring for critically ill and premature babies.
Doors open to the gala affair at 6:00 p.m. for cocktails and hors d’oevres, followed by a multi-course dinner at 7:30 p.m.
The entertainment will begin at 9:00 p.m.
Tickets for THE GUILD Dinner may be purchased by contacting Kathy Taranto at (313) 343-3674. Price of tickets is $250. Ticket price to our “Generation Next” (age 21-35) guests is $125.
