DETROIT – We'll see a mix of sun and clouds to end the weekend with highs in the upper 80s and light winds. A stationary front to our south may bring a few thundershowers to our southern counties through the afternoon but don't hold your breath. We need the rain! We ended June with nearly a 2.25" deficit in the rain bucket.
The heat and humidity return Monday back to 90 degrees or warmer. We'll also see storm chances increase Monday afternoon and Tuesday. Don't expect much relief from the heat as we stay around 90 and warmer all week.
