DETROIT – The 23rd annual Susan G. Komen Detroit Race for the Cure® takes place Saturday Chene Park, along Detroit's riverfront.
The event begins at 7 a.m. with registration, followed by the Survivor & Memorial Recognition Ceremony at 8 a.m. The competitive 5K begins promptly at 9 a.m., with the 5K walk beginning immediately after. The closing ceremony is at 10:30 a.m., and it's emceed by our very own, Ashlee Baracy.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is a global leader in the battle against breast cancer. The organization is the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight.
