3 children, 1 Detroit firefighter hurt in Monday morning house fire

Fire breaks out at house on Manor Street, extent of injuries weren't immediately released

DETROIT – Three children and a firefighter were hurt early Monday morning in a fire on Detroit's west side.

The Detroit Fire Department said the fire started at about 3:30 a.m. at 12178 Manor Street.

An 18-year-old, 12-year-old and 10-year-old were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and cuts.

The firefighter was also taken to the hospital, but it was not immediately clear what the injuries were.

The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
