Detroit police will host violent crime summit Tuesday

Violent crimes will be discussed at Detroit police crime summit

DETROIT – Detroit Police Chief James Craig will host a crime summit Tuesday to discuss violent crime and murder.

The summit will bring local businesses, clergy and members of the community together to have a discussion regarding violent crime and homicides that occur in the city of Detroit.

The summit will take place at Sacred Heart Church -- 3475 Rivard -- from 6 p.m. -- 8 p.m.

Attendees will be eligible for a $25 Honeybaked Ham.
