DETROIT – A 20-year-old man is hospitalized after being shot multiple times while driving on Wyoming Street on Detroit's west side.
The man crashed his vehicle into a utility pole after being wounded by the gunfire, police say. The vehicle was riddled with bullets. The back window was shot out.
Detroit police are searching for a shooter. They originally were responding to multiple reports of shots fired just up the street when they found the victim in the crashed vehicle.
Detroit EMS transported the man to a hospital where his condition is not known at this time, but police say he is in bad shape.
