Flames destroy home on Detroit's east side

Fire officials are investigating what caused the huge fire

House fire at Harper Avenue and Concord Street

DETROIT - An abandoned home went up in flames early Thursday morning on Detroit's east side.

Firefighters were dispatched to the area of Harper Avenue and Concord Street just before 3 Thursday morning.

When they arrived, the abandoned home was fully engulfed in flames and began spreading to the house next door.

No one was hurt in the fire and the cause is still under investigation.
