DETROIT – Ted Gatzaros passed away Wednesday night after a long battle with lung cancer.
The Greektown developer, along with his wife Maria, developed dozens of properties across metro Detroit.

Fishbones was among the properties he owned and operated in Greektown.
Rob Young, a representative from Fishbones, told Local 4 that Gatzaros was one of the most tenacious, strong-spirited men he had every known. He described him as a great friend who was honest and loyal.
