DETROIT – A 35-year-old man was robbed then shot about 7:50 p.m. Thursday on La Salle Street at Waverly Street in Detroit.
The victim was walking home from a local liquor store when he was approached by a man who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing all black.

The suspect announced a holdup then shot the man.
The victim is currently in critical condition at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck.
The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
