Shooting victim walks himself to hospital

DETROIT – Detroit police say a would-be robber who was shot by an overnight manager at a business early Wednesday morning has turned up at a hospital.

Police said the man, who is in his 50s, was shot by the manager with a shotgun after breaking into Motor City Propane's fenced-in yard -- which in the 14000 block of Livernois. He then took off.

Police said the man walked himself to a hospital and is listed in temporary serious condition.

Police haven't yet released details about charges.
